Phoenix Initiative Teacher Training
Now Enrolling 2025-2026 Year I - Online and In-Person Groups available
Our teacher training began in 2024 with a group of homeschool parents and class teachers from Waldorf schools and initiatives. We are community partners with EduCareDo - International Research Institute and Learning Center based on the work of Rudolf Steiner. This teacher training incorporates lessons from the Foundation Year Lessons and various subject course lessons from EduCareDo.
The training is open to all individuals who are called to support and participate in a spirit-led education for the future.
“Spirit-Led Education for a Spirit-led Life”
YEAR Ⅰ
8 workshops over the course of 11 months as well as Spirit-led Education for a Spirit-led Life course and a selection of lessons from the Foundations in Anthroposophy.
There will be two new groups beginning in August 2025 with the option for meeting on-line or in-person.
IN-PERSON GROUP
CHATHAM, NEW YORK, 11AM - 5PM

9AM - 4PM EDT (WITH A 2 HOUR BREAK)

Year-Long Course Fee: US$3,600. Payments can be made in installments when requested.
YEAR Ⅱ
The second year offers opportunities for observations within various educational settings as well as small group work and study facilitated by the the Phoenix circle of teachers. Intensives in speech and singing will be offered as well as workshops focused on artistic activity.
Course participants are strongly encouraged to enroll into and engage in Lisa Romero’s course through the Inner Development for World Development as the study materials for Year II.
Year II Fee: US $3,300 (this includes all of the above as well as 2 individual, in-person meetings with a Phoenix teacher. The Inner Development for World Development course is an additional cost).
YEAR Ⅲ
The third year supports course participants to refine, practice and evolve their contribution towards the future through Spirit-led Education. A selection of lessons from subject courses are made available according to the course participant’s focus for the year. The training is individualised towards Spirit-led Education through meetings with Meaghan Witri.
