Main Lesson: Creation Stories - Ancient Hebrews with Mr. Séamus

September 28-October 1, 2026

Last week we heard the completion of the seven days of creation. We heard how the first human being came into existence and about the Garden of Eden/Paradise. We also experienced how temptation was introduced to the human being and recognized the familiarity of that activity, when it disguises itself as innocence or even as a good thing to engage with.

In addition, we had the privilege of working with Ms. Ella on speaking and writing the opening lines of Genesis in Hebrew. Ella is an artist and a native speaker of Hebrew and so we were given a truly authentic introduction into this incredible ancient language, which unlike many other significant ancient languages of the world is still very alive and spoken as part of daily life! We heard that the names of the first two letters of this language Aleph and Bet are part of the name of our alphabet. We practiced writing in the opposite direction to our way of writing and worked to inscribe these ancient and very different letters than ours. When we spoke we felt the centuries echoing through the words.

We are looking forward to continuing to practice these powerful ancient words and letters and to hear more about the human beings' long and beautifully poetic and complex journey through consciousness from the very beginnings of time.

warmly,
Mr. Séamus
