Main Lesson: Form Drawing -  Foundations for Writing with Ms. Meaghan

Over the last week, the children were engaged in our Michaelmas celebration and festival preparation. Our main lessons were lively and full of energy this week, and the children are continuing to practice their flutes and form drawing.

For the festival we heard the story of a fire breathing dragon being tamed by archangel  Michael. The children also made bread buns to offer at the Michaelmas table for our community. As a class we had our first lemon footbaths last week and it was special to experience the children's receptivity and willingness for their footbath. Each child rested well and we are reading aloud the stories of Tiptoes Lightly during footbaths and afternoon classes.

The children are playing very well within their own peer group and are learning to be with the older children as well during team course challenge day and some recess time. We are continuing to work on transitioning between activities and lessons. Each week the children are growing more and more into the forms of the program and their class dynamics.

With warmth,

Meaghan
